What a GLP-1 tracker should actually do.
A GLP-1 tracker should organize the schedule and dose entered by the user, food and hydration, side effects, bowel changes, movement, strength, and non-scale trends. It should never diagnose, select medication, recommend a dose, or replace direct clinical care.
Put the useful information in one place
Dose records, injection-site rotation, protein, fluids, side effects, bowel patterns, movement, sleep, and non-scale changes tell a clearer story together than they do across separate apps.
Show patterns without declaring diagnoses
A tracker can display what the member entered and make trends easier to discuss. It should not label a symptom, decide that a reaction is safe, or turn an automated pattern into a treatment recommendation.
Know when to hand the person to a person
Some answers should prompt direct contact with the clinic, and urgent symptoms should leave the app entirely for appropriate medical or emergency help. The software's boundary should be obvious rather than buried in fine print.
Support the days between visits
The best role for a tracker is to make the next human conversation more informed and the next daily step more manageable. See how OptimalHer is designed, or read the GLP-1 guide for the complete care timeline.
Results vary. Optimal Wellness Clinic currently prescribes compounded GLP-1 medications only when a licensed provider determines they are medically necessary and appropriate. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved or generic equivalents of branded products, and results from branded-drug trials do not establish results for compounded preparations.
