Eligibility

Telehealth begins with a clinical decision.

Medication approach

Compounded care, explained clearly.

What the clinic offers

Optimal Wellness Clinic currently offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide when treatment is medically necessary, clinically appropriate, and legally available. The clinic does not prescribe name-brand GLP-1 medications.

What compounded means

Compounded medications are prepared for an individual prescription. They are not FDA-approved, are not generic equivalents of branded products, and are not reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.

Results vary. Optimal Wellness Clinic currently prescribes compounded GLP-1 medications only when a licensed provider determines they are medically necessary and appropriate. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved or generic equivalents of branded products, and results from branded-drug trials do not establish results for compounded preparations.

Questions

Ohio telehealth, answered plainly.

Is telehealth weight-loss care available everywhere in Ohio?

Eligible follow-up visits are available when the patient is physically located in Ohio. The clinician decides whether an initial evaluation, examination, testing, or any later part of care needs to happen in person.

Can I request a specific GLP-1 medication?

You can discuss prior treatment and preferences, but a visit does not guarantee a prescription. Medication is selected only after an individual evaluation and only when a licensed provider determines it is medically necessary and appropriate.

What GLP-1 medications does the clinic prescribe?

The clinic currently prescribes compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide when a licensed provider determines that treatment is medically necessary, clinically appropriate, and legally available. Where are labs completed?

When labs are useful, patients can generally use a LabCorp location near them. The exact testing plan is selected for the individual clinical question.

What happens between visits?

OptimalHer records the information you enter, including dose history and digestive symptoms, while coaching supports protein, movement, and strength. The app does not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend a dose.
