Medical Weight Loss · Optimal Wellness Clinic · Mason, Ohio

The medicine works. The support is what makes it last.

Semaglutide and tirzepatide, prescribed after a real evaluation, with a daily guide, a trainer, and a community around them — so the weight you lose is fat, not muscle, and the plan survives contact with your actual life.

Start simple: the free blood panel starts the conversation. Go deeper: the Root Cause Panel explores the wider picture.

Medication is one part of the plan, not the whole of it.

Chapter 01

The part nobody tells you when they write the prescription.

The medicine can take the weight off. It cannot build the body underneath it.

Without enough protein and without strength training, weight loss on a GLP-1 can take muscle with it.

Plateaus arrive around the time the excitement wears off. Side effects show up on a Tuesday night with no one to ask.

Most people learn all of this from an app, a forum, or a friend, weeks in. Here it is part of the plan on day one.

01

A real conversation

History, symptoms, and what has been tried, with Dr. Ryan.

03

Your protocol and your people

The medication, a protein target, Tabby's plan, and the community.

04

Every day after

The ten-second check-in, side effects logged and watched, adjustments when your body asks for them.

More than a prescription

One plan. Not four apps.

Elsewhere, the medicine comes from one place, the food tracking from an app, the workouts from another, and the support from a Facebook group that knows nothing about your actual protocol. Here, your dosing, your protein target, your training plan, and your support are built around the same picture — because they are supposed to work together, not sit in separate corners of your phone.

  • 01

Dosing, tracked with you — Titration, side effects, and timing, followed alongside your plan, not guessed at.

  • 02

Protein and food, coached — A nutrition target built for muscle preservation, not just a calorie number.

  • 03

Strength training, built in — A real training plan, because the goal is shape and strength, not just a smaller number on the scale.

  • 04

Support that does not wait — Questions between visits go to a coach and a community that already know your plan.

Chapter 03

The medicine, plainly.

What semaglutide and tirzepatide are, how titration works, what the first weeks feel like, and what we do about nausea and constipation before they cost you a week. The app records the dose you report and reminds you of the schedule you entered. It never sets or suggests either — that is your prescriber’s job, and Dr. Ryan’s alone.

Semaglutide

A GLP-1 medication that can change appetite and fullness signals. Dose changes are gradual and based on response and tolerance. More on semaglutide in Mason, Ohio

We prescribe branded medication. Availability is confirmed with Dr. Ryan at your evaluation.

Read together

The prescription sits inside one plan.

Appetite is connected to insulin, metabolism, sleep, and energy. Medication support is considered alongside the wider habits and health factors that shape the long-term plan.

  • 01

    Medication response and tolerance

  • 02

    Nutrition, movement, and strength

  • 03

    Sleep, energy, and metabolic context

A coordinated health plan with medication support, nourishment, movement, hydration, and sleep

Chapter 04

We plan for the day you stop.

Most programs end when the prescription does. Ours does not. When you taper or finish, the daily guide shifts to maintenance — protein and strength habits, early warning from your own check-in trends, practitioner check-ins, and a cohort of members on the same stretch of road.

Full maintenance-mode features arrive in the app’s second phase; the clinic support around them exists now.

Chapter 05

Is this you?

This may fit

You want the medicine and the plan around it. You have tried a GLP-1 alone. You want a person, not a portal.

This may not fit

You want a prescription mailed with no visit, or a number on a timeline. We do not promise one.

Program & pricing

Clear before care begins.

Program pricing is built around your evaluation and protocol, and always includes coaching and support — not sold back to you as a separate app or membership. Ask at your consultation.

Questions

What to know before you begin.

Are GLP-1 medicines safe?

Every prescription has benefits and risks. Safety depends on your history, health, medications, and appropriate monitoring.

What side effects are common?

Digestive symptoms can occur, especially while a dose changes. Dosing and support are individualized rather than rushed.

Will I lose muscle?

Weight loss can include muscle as well as fat. Protein intake and strength training are built into the plan to support muscle preservation.

What does coaching actually include?

Nutrition and protein guidance, a strength-training plan, regular check-ins, adjustments, and support from a team that knows your medical protocol.

Can I combine this with HRT?

Yes, when both are clinically appropriate. The plans are read together.

Do you treat men too?

Yes. Men receive the same evaluation and individualized approach.

Does insurance cover it?

Not typically. The clinic is private pay, medication coverage varies, and HSA and FSA funds work for most clinic services.

What if I have tried GLP-1s before, on my own?

Bring that history. Previous response, dosing, side effects, and reasons for stopping all matter.

What happens between visits?

The daily guide logs your dose, food, and side effects, and a coach reads it — questions do not wait for the next appointment.
